Welcome to the call. How's everyone doing? What's up with them? Yes Carla, I had a bunch of nodes, a parent node and other nodes and then I bought three more and they told me whoever I talked to on the phone told me to put the new one on as a parent node and then put the rest as child nodes and I did that.

and I paired them up. Well, I have, and then I brought one out and I have it in another building, but I have the um Ethernet cable run out of the back of the parent node into the Internet income on the other one, and I can't get a signal. I should have never changed this one. Uh do you know what I mean? Yes, I changed the parent node, and then I paired all the child nodes up with the parent node. Then I unplugged one and took it and put it in one part of the room, then I unplugged another one, put it in another part of the room. Three of them are working and three of them aren't aren't plugged in. But one of them I ran a
01:00
Speaker 2
okay so basically you changed the parent node right yes uh huh uh huh [silence] ok yes sir so basically you changed the parent node right yes uh-huh.
01:00
Speaker 1
I installed the hardwire from the the main incoming one to the next one and it didn't work. And then I think I messed it up because I held the reset button and it reset. I probably have to take it and repair it again. Don't I? No. Cause I thought I had it figured out. before I plugged they all worked except for this one and I think if this one works it'll pair with the other ones. I just I have it hardwired from the main incoming one on the back of it it says um what is it say one plug in so I can read this one. Right one of them says internet and then the other says
02:00
Speaker 2
ok. um yes sir. once you do the reset you need to pair the node again to the parent. so um sir do you have a ticket number with your previous call? [silence] uh huh. yes. internet uh huh
02:00
Speaker 1
and I got from the mother node, or from the parent node, I have it plugged into the ethernet, and then I ran it back to the other one and plugged it in the ethernet. That's how it's supposed to be. Yeah. Right? The one that's wired to the router is pink right now. It was flashing red. Okay. 843- 425- 4012. [silence]
03:00
Speaker 2
Yes. Okay. Okay. And what is, um, what's the color of that, uh, light on that child node, sir? The one that you wired it to the router. Yeah, it's pink. Um, yeah. It's pink, that means it's ready for setup. So, before we continue, let me just, um, create a record. Um, since you've called before, let me just ask for your phone number. Okay. Let me just pull up your record. And may I ask what is the, uh, model number of the, uh, child node that you have, uh, the one that's wired, the one that's wired, the one that's wired.
03:00
Speaker 1
MX 42MX 4200MX 4200. The serial number on this one. Oh my god, my glasses. Let's see serial number 387518501508. Oh, hold on, hold on. Let me look at it again 3 3 8 U as in umpire.
04:00
Speaker 2
Is this the purple one? And what about his serial number? Okay, let me check if I got it correctly. That's 388 for Apple and that's 101 yeah, I'm sorry. And then 10M for Mary. 5A for Apple B for Brian.
04:00
Speaker 1
Yes. That's one of the new ones. The model number is the same. See, whoever I talked to told me to take my new ones and make it the parent node, and then where I have it run with the wire, make another new one like that. And that's what I'm trying to do. Everything worked except we're trying to hook this one up back here. Um, I called this morning and talked to a guy, but I talked to last week, I talked to a lady that told me what to do, and then I never had time to tear the internet down. So, I I guess I called today around 11ish or 1030 or 11. So,
05:00
Speaker 2
zero one five zero eight and how about the um yeah okay the model number of the parallel no it's right uh... one or more one uh... uh... when did you call that sir did you call yesterday or uh huh all right can you still remember the name [silence]
05:00
Speaker 1
no, I don't remember their names. So I need to pair this back up to the parent node. Okay, I'm going to walk to the other room or in the other. [silence] or do I need the parent node or do you need the um, do you need the other child node and the other serial number? For the other one. That's me. Yes.
06:00
Speaker 2
Okay. By the way, may I also know the MX4200, right? And may I ask also the um serial number of the parent node, sir. Okay. Just the um, let's start with the parent node first. So I was able to pull up a record, here it's under Mr. Scott Hughes, and email address is roadarthsbellsouth.net.
06:00
Speaker 1
yes and there should be like three or four that are out of warranty and then I bought these new ones because the lady told me that um, that I was having a problem with one of them. She goes, well, if you get the new updated ones, you shouldn't have the problem. and now I can't hook it up. It was all hooked up before perfect. All right. I'm gonna go in here to the next to the parent mode and do this. Um, no, I was I bought three more and I was gonna make the lady, the lady told me to take one of the new ones, which is the MX 4200 and make that a parent mode and put that on the other end of a um internet, the one that's hardwire. and this goes out to my shop. [silence]
07:00
Speaker 2
Okay. You're trying to add a new child no notes, right? Mhm. Mhm.
07:00
Speaker 1
[KEEP_UNCERTAIN] Okay, the, the other's, the mother node. There's a parent no, I'm getting all confused. The serial, it's a MX 403 200. The serial number is 3. 008. U as in umpire. 1. Zero M as in Mary. 5. A as in Alpha. V as in Baby. 016. Six, six, eight. Yes. It's blue and the other, child nodes in the house are working. But, I'm trying, I'm trying.
08:00
Speaker 2
uh-huh uh-huh Okay that's 3 8 u 1 0 m 5 a B 0 1 6 6 8. What's the color of the light on the perimeter?
08:00
Speaker 1
uh, Kind of hook the other note up versus Wi-Fi. Oh, wait a second. You know what? I just found the problem. I just the wire came out. Where's the other wire? yeah they. think it's just use I forgot, but uh, yep here it is right here. Uh, but I still gotta dang it. I still gotta um put it in. I still gotta pair it because I held the button too long, huh? That's the problem. Oh my god, I'm so stupid. How did I not see that? Um I've been messing with this thing in the shop for like an hour. I didn't even notice it wasn't plugged in to the. Okay. So the one with the pink light because I held the reset button so long. I have to pair it to the mother. I have to pair it to the parent. do I do that on my app like I did the others? yes. going to the other, node. one I just plugged in. Okay. well, it's not plugged in on the other end. anyway, I've got the node in here with me. Okay. right now, only thing plugged into the parent node is my internet and my power cable.
09:00
Speaker 2
Okay Yes, but um do you want to um use that child node as wired, right? Okay, so um you can use the app, sir, if the it shows us on your um or how about this? Um I disconnect first the cable, sir, um from the parent node Oh yeah, just unplug, um yes, just unplug it first Okay, um you can um connect that node [silence]
10:00
Speaker 1
Yes. So go ahead and plug the cable back into my parent node and then go out in the shop and plug that cable in the back of the child node. Oh, yeah, I've already disconnected it and brought it in the house to pair it to the parent node. Okay, do I need to go, like I'm like 200 feet between buildings, so you want me to plug it into the Ethernet side of the parent node? [silence]
11:00
Speaker 2
Sure back to the cable whoa (Yes, yes.) cable okay. (Makes clicking sound) cause we can use them user interface of them parent noted to add this channel load okay okay. Write (Puts down things)
11:00
Speaker 1
and then go out and plug it into the internet side of the, yes, yes Android I can go to, I know how to do it off my phone because I had it like that and then I went back and plugged it in and it didn't work, but I forgot to plug it in to the parent node, that's what was wrong, so I can fix it then, I know what's wrong I found out what um set up a new product where to go because I want to set up a product set up new product add a new [[silence] 3+ seconds [[silence] 1+ second
12:00
Speaker 2
All right, how about this? Since you're already near to the parent node, okay? Since you're already near to the parent node, we'll just pair it first before we connected it. So on your, you're using your phone, right? Okay. This is an iPhone, right? Or an Android phone? Okay. Thank you. I'm just going to wait there. You can be waiting at the gateway there. Okay.
12:00
Speaker 1
to expand your mesh network. Yes. Okay. Plug it in. It is plugged in. The light is solid. Okay. Yeah. Now it's doing it. So once it connects to the parent. Once this child nodes connects to the parent node, I can take it back in and plug it in and it'll work. As long as I have this side plugged in. That's what if. I forgot. I thought it was plugged in at the parent node, and I waited back there messing with it. But that's what was wrong. Okay. I got it now. And as long as they're all connected to the parent mode, I can move those other ones wherever. Is it hurt to be too close?
13:00
Speaker 2
[silence] Yes, uh to set up the number uh no Sir, um if you're going to set up the device, we recommended that it should be on the same um location of the perimeter.
13:00
Speaker 1
Oh yeah, that's setting it up. But I mean, after it's set up, as long as it gets a signal, they can't be too close. Yeah, there's several rooms apart, or 30 or 40 feet through the walls and all. Flashing pink now. I knew I shouldn't have held the reset button on it. I should have came back in here and looked. S Starlink.
14:00
Speaker 2
we recommend that you should be like there's a distance not too close. [silence] your who's your internet service provider? okay. again, you do not here. like some that we can't.
14:00
Speaker 1
see I could grab one of my old ones and take it out there because I got an old one sitting here but it's unplugged but it's already connected to the parent it's already connected to the parent so I don't really uh the old models are they say um this is 4200 also. I thought that we're old. got an extra so I'm missing a node somewhere.
15:00
Speaker 2
and I'll take
15:00
Speaker 1
It's blinking sync. Still on my apps, like, might be about three quarters of the way around. [silence] my lighting means it's pairing, right? [silence] Setting itself up. Where are you located at? Where's that? Oh, Philippines.
16:00
Speaker 2
Fromt the right channel, we can hear: [silence]
16:00
Speaker 1
Is it hot over there? Okay. Yeah, it's like 95 degrees here in the humidities high. Oh, now it's red. Flashing red. It was flashing pink. Okay. Yeah, it was flashing pink. Oh, it's blue now. So now I can unplug it. ok oh good stop no it's flashing blue now no it's solid blue again yeah because it started flashing and then it quit went back to steady blue OK o my phone says
17:00
Speaker 2
[silence] Well, that's why once it first at the start once it turns blue at first, we will need to wait for like a minute or so, just to make sure it stabilizes its connection to the parent node. That's why it's called
18:00
Speaker 2
no, it's the publishing guide and I would provide. I hope you did not Okay. Yes sir, and you can relocate now the node. Okay. Okay. um, it's up to you sir, if you want me to stay on the phone, it's okay.
19:00
Speaker 1
Well, can you do it out here? Place testimonies. Yeah. That's what I should have done. That would have been so much easier. Okay.
20:00
Speaker 2
actually sure if you change um like a parent node you can just like actually set up the parent node or the wireless settings of the parent node you will just set it up as a um the exactly the same wireless settings as the old parent so that the old child node will just um reconnect it back to the network that no need to like um that you don't need to uh reset all the nodes the only thing that you need to reset is just the old parent node so that it will be set up as also as the
20:00
Speaker 1
plug that one in, oh it blue, it worked, Yeehaw, oh yep it's flashing now, blue on my app now, it was just read, up now it's red again, not flashing red fast, just like it did in the house, and then it'll change to blue hopefully, then I can go look at the one that's in the other room, oh. I have to get my hat.
21:00
Speaker 2
Okay, just wait for, like let's wait for like a minute or two, just making sure that it will stay connected.
21:00
Speaker 1
Should have set them all up by I saw that and I started doing that and I didn't get it. I was like, I never did this before or I lost it because I unplugged it. No. That's what it was. Unplug the parent node. Yes. And I have I have the cable plugged into it now.
22:00
Speaker 2
In lieu of some allowance for PC WN on a B on the hour 10 you mentioned and does it keep it's still with the clothes off.
22:00
Speaker 1
Oh, it seems like it should have hooked by now. Have it plug into the Ethernet, or no, into the internet side. Yes. That's where I have it plugged in. And then I pulled it. Oh, I had the other one. That's a little weird. [silence] I guess I'm going to go back up to the house to check to make sure everything's plugged in again. [silence] Cause you told me to unplug it, but I think I plugged it in before I left.
23:00
Speaker 2
Okay. Um for Carla Tenier. Tell me that the changes here were there. and then it's on port. yes. you have the next yeah they're not unaffected and And we W when we can [silence]
23:00
Speaker 1
the one, you know, the wire going to the back shop, the one we're checking, I'm gonna go up front and make sure we checked it, make sure I plugged it back in, oh, you have this problem with everybody or just me? okay, uh-oh. back up front, let's see where we, uh, we're, yeah. All right, that's for you, bud. [silence] That's plugged in. That plug. Everything's plug. Everything's plugged in. Why it's not. Should I try a different Ethernet plug? There's three of them. I could change, change it and see if that makes a difference. Another port, that's what I mean. See, I don't know the terms. We'll plug it in this one. Give it to me. All right.
24:00
Speaker 2
Um, now, Nature, um... Running back and forth. my so uh... yes you may try another port [silence]
25:00
Speaker 1
Sure, I didn't I'll walk back outside. I'm going to bring this other no with me that's already been checked too because if it doesn't pick up, I'll try this no. I got a spare one. I just was thinking that maybe one of the ethernet plugs might be bad and so I switched it. I had a brand new computer that had a bad ethernet plug and it never worked. and see. will please be blue when I get that going. it's blue. it's blue so that must mean that one plug on the new node that I got on my parent node is bad. right because all I did was change the where it plugged into the it. yes blue. oh, let me see my app says it's active. It should say it now.
26:00
Speaker 2
is it still blinking blinking red [silence] or possibly is um during the walk time it reconnected it reconnected to the network um
27:00
Speaker 1
Oh, it's Noah. It's blue, but my phone's not picking it up. Yeah. Okay. It is because I've got the router and it's got like little dots with an arrow on each side, then I have a child node with arrow with dots on each side, and then I have three other ones that have the antenna strength.
28:00
Speaker 1
Yes, they've already been set up I just got to plug them in. Awesome. That's eight, four, three, four, two, five. Yes. Thank you. Okay. I thank you very much for your help.
29:00
