V2 Grader Summary

The agent conducted thorough, technically accurate troubleshooting, correctly identified the issue as a firmware-level anomaly, and appropriately escalated to engineering. The interaction demonstrated strong technical judgment, ownership, and adaptation to a knowledgeable customer. While no resolution was achieved, all necessary steps were taken to advance the case, warranting an 'Appropriate Escalation' outcome.

V1 Case Analysis

Customer reports MX6200 kitchen node showing duplicate MAC addresses (hardware MAC 80:69:1A:DC:59:1E and virtual MAC D2:A7:...) and failing DHCP reservation despite factory reset and firmware reflash (v1.0.14.216738). Collected MAC/IP details, screenshots, and network logs. Escalated to engineering for analysis.

Troubleshooting Steps
  • Reviewed node LED status (solid white) and firmware version (v1.0.14.216738)
  • Confirmed factory reset and firmware reflash had been performed by customer
  • Collected MAC addresses (hardware and virtual) and IP addresses
  • Captured network logs from parent and child nodes
  • Documented network topology (D-Link DGS-1024 switch)
Key Observations
  • Agent provided an incorrect support URL ('links.xyz') at [19:00], which is not a valid Linksys domain and contradicts KB guidance (universal_support_contacts.md).
  • Agent did not perform any new troubleshooting steps beyond what the customer had already done (factory reset, firmware reflash).
  • Call was inefficient with repeated requests for screenshots and unclear instructions, but agent collected all necessary technical details for escalation.
  • Agent correctly identified the issue as requiring engineering analysis, aligning with KB guidance for hardware faults (universal_escalation_guide.md).
Positive Highlights
  • Collected comprehensive technical details (MACs, IPs, screenshots, logs) required for engineering analysis.
  • Correctly identified the issue as requiring engineering escalation, aligning with KB protocol for hardware faults.
  • Maintained professional communication throughout the call.
Agent Errors / Gaps
  • Provided incorrect support URL ('links.xyz') instead of the correct Linksys support site (https://support.linksys.com/kb/article/90-en/). This is a material accuracy error per universal_support_contacts.md.
  • Did not attempt additional basic troubleshooting (e.g., power cycle, DHCP settings verification) beyond customer's prior actions, missing an opportunity to validate or isolate the issue further.

This is Linksys technical support calling. This call is recorded for quality assurance. Please hold as we connect you to a Linksys specialist. Uh, I'm Lamar. This is Paolo from Linksys customer assurance team level two, and this call is recorded for quality assurance purposes. Hello, sir. Uh, my name is Paolo. Yeah, I'm fine. Thank you for asking sir. Lamar, I'm calling about your MX62100. Your case has been escalated to us. Is this the best time for us to work with the device, sir? Thank you. And then, Lamar, just a quick question, sir, okay? Uh, it says here that you have three nodes and uh, one is having some problem. Uh, I find it interesting on this ticket. Uh, it says here that the MAC address keeps [silence] [fading noise]
00:00
Speaker 2
Hello. What's your name again? Pablo. Hey, how you doing Pablo? Sure. Absolutely.
00:00
Speaker 1
on changing. Uh, is that correct sir? [silence]
01:00
Speaker 2
Three. in. that, did, go. Right for. One, it would show the I address. And then sometimes. Land would show up with the same I address. As Land but with a I address. Okay that's. That's the note question. When I go to. the. one on the. second floor. it shows the I address that I was able to reserve. a D address for. It shows the I address, as well as the correct. hardware. mac. address. Okay? And that's land on that one. The same for the one on the third floor. it shows the. I address that I reserved for it. the I address. this is land one. And the mac address, which matches to the hardware address that
02:00
Speaker 1
Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Okay.
03:00
Speaker 2
print it on the label. However, for the one on the first floor, it actually appears twice right now in the device list. It shows up with a different MAC address. And I did was successful in reserving a CPI address for it, but it doesn't show the manufacturer. It doesn't show the model. The others do. And then when I go to the actual device, the one with the correct MAC address, it, you know, shows manufacturer Linksys, model MX62 version 1, just like the other two that are working. Um, and it has a, it's been assigned an IP address, but it will not take the reserved IP address. And sometimes when I come in and look at it, IP address number two, or land, and it says, right now it says offline, will have that same IP address that land has, with the IPv6 address assigned to it. And it switches back and forth. And then from time to time, when I open it, where it says firmware version, you know, where it says answered firmware version, and then under it right now, it says, up to date. But sometimes it'll say checking. The other two don't do that at all. So it keeps flipping back and forth. I've done a factory reset on it. That didn't help. I did a factory reset on the whole system. So I factory reset the parent and all three of the, the three MX6200s. The second floor and the third floor added back just fine. I
03:00
Speaker 1
Uh-huh. Okay. Okay.
05:00
Speaker 2
But the one on the first floor did not. I even- in fact, I reset the one on the first floor which is in the kitchen and then brought it into my office connected directly to it with a Ethernet cable and I attached with it with the https: colon forward slash the IP address which is 192.168.1.1 forward slash fw update.hmtl. Logged in with the admin admin. I had already downloaded the firmware is still the 1.0.14.216738. So I re-imaged it or pushed the firmware to it and it was successful came back with an okay and the blue light was blinking for about I'd say about a minute and a half or so whatever. And then it went solid blue. Then I went back into the phone app and add a product. And I had the device laying right next next to the L3121. I started the process. The light started flashing. Then it went solid, then it flashed. Then it went white and flashed a little bit. Then it stayed white. And then it of course showed up as a new child node in the app. And then I renamed it to AP- kitchen- 86, but it's still in the same condition where the LAN1's MAC address, which is the correct one that's on the label of the device, which is 80691A-DC591E, but it doesn't have an IPv6 address and I cannot, it will not take anything.
05:00
Speaker 1
Okay. Well, I have a question, sir. Mhm. Lamar, I'm a question is um are you um engineer or technician by uh by profession sir? Um, I just wanted to ask that 'cause. All right. Actually, you're reading my mind, sir. Okay. Those are the things that I'm about to do with your ticket. Okay. That's why I asked ahead of time. Now, um, I like it and I have a couple of question. You did a reflash. You've used the HTML to that particular child node. Uh, when did you um last time did that, sir? Was it yesterday, a couple of weeks ago?
07:00
Speaker 2
Sure, I guess it's a question. Recently, so I was tested administrator for the last 40 years.
07:00
Speaker 1
... So, the N, which is the parent node, and the MX 6200, okay, they're all in wired back hauling. Am I correct? Okay. That work topology ... topology using wired back hauling. Uh, is any of these, um, node, um, connected to a switch or they're connected directly to the L, and then the child node connected to the firewall downstream?
08:00
Speaker 2
I did it just actually I did it this morning, um to flash it, um this morning, so, um, yeah, I did it this morning it was successful, I mean it's not broken, it's not bricked or anything like that. I mean it's functioning and it's uh and I have these, they're not wireless, they are actually attached, they're back hauling uh via ethernet, um, so each one of them uh are, you know, they're backhealth, yeah Right. Correct, all of them. Correct.
08:00
Speaker 1
parent don't sir. So the three child know, there, they're connected to a switch. All of them. [silence] Mm-hmm. [silence]
09:00
Speaker 2
They're connected to a switch. Correct. And yes. And like I said, the one in the second floor and the third floor are behaving normal. So, yeah. And also I just noticed, I can get to it in the app. Yeah it's yeah here look. Um when I go to the device list in the app, the the first floor kitchen um shows up with a different IP address on a different Mac address. So I'm getting in there now just to take a look. Uh so I can cause it shows up with a and it and it said it's connected, dotted connecting.
09:00
Speaker 1
Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Sorry to insert this one real quick, Lamar, okay? Those switches, okay, are they, uh, uh, a managed switch or they are unmanaged switch?
10:00
Speaker 2
with Ethernet. But it shows up with a different MAC address. Let me see. Go here. There's devices here. There it is. So it says AP-kitchen-6E. So this is the one that took the reserved IP address, and this is not the correct hardware MAC address. And let's see if it shows up again because a lot of times it shows up twice. This time it's not. It showed up once. I don't see it again. I've got it fairly... It's an unmanaged switch.
10:00
Speaker 1
Yep, continue on that one. So, just want to take note of that. And there are three, which is. Uh, yeah. Sorry. I got this there, okay? Uhhh, there's what.
11:00
Speaker 2
I've been wanting to change this unmanaged switch to a managed switch. But like I said, the other two are functioning normal. This is the other one that's acting weird right now. And I haven't attempted, you know, on of course, on the L43121, there are four ports that I can't because the punch down tool, the 10 punch down is in my office. So, you know, I haven't tried that. I just mean, leading to that, I could possibly move it from the managed, I mean, unmanaged switch to the back of the L43121. Could see it that? But, I mean, it kind of doesn't make sense if the other two are functioning normal. I mean, it'd be one thing if it was just one of them that was...
11:00
Speaker 1
You know what, the those are my troubleshooting plan, Lamar. I just let you know. Now, here's the difference between you and I. Okay? Even though we know how we know how to check this further, I may have to consult this to the team. Now, um, uh, you're kind of static when you, um, explain me, uh, what's going on but I kinda get it, okay? So, uh, yes. So this particular child node. The catch node. Uh, what I'm gonna do. If you'll allow me, Lamar, okay? Uh, I'm sure you know this. Uh, there's node has, this system right now has what we call network logs. If you allow me to do remote access to your, uh, personal computer and take a screenshot to this, uh, we're gonna go to the DHCP. I mean, reservation as well. Uh, you have a MAC address, uh, under the MAC address of the hardware is not the same.
12:00
Speaker 2
Okay.
12:00
Speaker 1
when you see it, uh when you see it under, uh reservation. I understand that. so, would you, uh allow me, or you wanna do this uh step by step sir? I can't just take notes. um, I no, I can't. It will not. Um, okay. Anyway, um, just to verify this one, uh the line scan is static. Your parid node is LN21, um, and you missed that part. 3121, there we go. 31 21. Okay. All right, now, um, uh, the good thing is that you did a reflash and based on my experience, okay, um, I'm sure you know this, uh, doing a reflash or upgrade, we have to reset. So in your case, We're not gonna do the reset anymore. We're just gonna wait for 24 hours. My next step for this is to capture network logs for that particular node sir. Okay, because I want to check it there. And also I want to capture the network logs of the parent node. Okay, and that way, once I present this to the team, I have those two information. As of now, we're on the identification, okay? So, you made mention that you know the MAC address of that particular child node sir. Do you have that with you? Because I'll take note of that sir. I am ready.
13:00
Speaker 2
okay okay okay okay okay
14:00
Speaker 1
okay, let me read this back to you. I'm not going to mention the column anyway. It's going to be 80691 Apple Bravo Charlie 591 E for Edward. Thank you sir. And our next step for this. By the way, um, there's a style door right now. I just want to verify because we're about to capture our network logs okay. Um, uh is this solid white right now as we speak wired to the switch and the switch is wired to the to the uh ln 31 uh ln 3121. Okay. Now, um, we're going to go to
15:00
Speaker 2
That's correct.
15:00
Speaker 1
Yeah, by the way, we have to disable your VPN, uh, for this Lamar, uh, for isolation, 'cause, uh, we can't access that network locks, by the way. Um, I'm still here, sir. And, um, yeah, let me let me ask you this, uh, kind of, uh, uh, I don't wanna, um, ask the instruction, I mean, give instruction if you know this. Uh, have you tried capturing network locks before? But,
16:00
Speaker 2
okay okay so let me let me let me uh the express vpn so let me turn off the vpn okay then the VPN is off is there a problem yeah looks
16:00
Speaker 1
I hate them providing that no. Okay. Um, anyway, so, um, your internet service providers tell me, right? I guess you know this. Uh, is this a cable company or uh, DSL or fiber? Or dial-up. Okay. Now, uh, I'm sure you have accessed the interface already, sir, right? Have you been to that page? Um, you may have mentioned that the user interface the UI, you may have mentioned that you are able to check this on the device list earlier. You may have mentioned about that. You are. Web interface. Okay, the
17:00
Speaker 2
[silence] No. [silence] No, it's a [silence] um, fiber company. Um, [silence] [silence] Well Max's page. [silence] Uh, yes, I'm looking at the [silence] I'm looking at the LLN 3121 now. I'm looking at the the web interface of that. Yes.
17:00
Speaker 1
I just want to know the IP address there since you're looking at it under the URL. What's the numbers or you're using my router. that local? Okay, let's do a shortcut because we can get it there also. Uhm, I'm sure you have a Lynx is app with you, uh, sir, right? Uh, Lynx is app. Uh, application. Uh, for the Lynx is routers or, or node. Lynx is app. On your phone, sir. Yeah, that's, that's right.
18:00
Speaker 2
192.168.1.1 and then it has the UI and then the 1.099.29598 dynamic forward slash dynamic home.html. Kevin, what? Um, application for. on my phone? Yeah, I was
18:00
Speaker 1
Okay. And the email associated to your account is the, the one that I have is it Martin at la mar, I don't know. Okay, that. Okay. Now, um, I'd like you to go on the links. x y z. And then, um, and once you do, uh, let me know if you're on the dashboard. And then tap on the three lines in the upper left. And there's a network administration right there. And, and once you go to network administration,
19:00
Speaker 2
I was just looking at that app on my phone. I commended it right then Lamar and Angela calm okay. I'm in the dashboard right now. Okay. I'm there. Okay. I'm in it.
19:00
Speaker 1
you have their diagnostics. Is it on or off right now? Let's turn it on. And then I'd like you to send network logs to our Clodorian, I'll be seeing it in the moment.
20:00
Speaker 2
Yes. What's right here? Diagnostics. And it's off right now. Okay. It's on. Okay.
20:00
Speaker 1
All right, now I'd like you to send another one. sir. OK.
21:00
Speaker 2
Okay, I sent it. Okay, taking a longer time this time.
21:00
Speaker 1
It's okay, sir. Um, actually, actually it's still sending in the app in your end, right? But, uh, I already have the second, um, uh, second, um, that work luck sir. It's okay. If it's stuck there. Yes, version two. It's okay. I already got it. Lamar Martin, uh, call, uh, just saved.
22:00
Speaker 2
It just won't let me. Is it stationary, if it's version two, I put that in, the first one says Amal Martin LM3121, then I put the version two in the second one, so right now it's kind of stuck, yeah, I may have to kill it, okay. Thank you.
22:00
Speaker 1
ufor nor-network Glugs gonna save this here or here all right okay and open that here now you gave me the MAC address right where's my notes where's that MAC address for so I'm doing a quick search right now I'm gonna need the the column this chain. Hold on, let me just do a shortcut. Now, there's switches, um... are they are the same brand? Let's say, are they all linkses or a different brands there? The switches, are they all linkses or you're using net gear switch or other brands? healing. Uh, it does not matter, okay? 5918. It's here, actually.
23:00
Speaker 2
which? No, it's a- It's another brands. It's a D'lin unmanned switch. If it's a- It's a- Okay, it's a 24 port D'lin [sound]
24:00
Speaker 1
here alright now uh... yeah uh... we're gonna go to the interfacer and and um... you're gonna Uh, uh, what'd you call this? Reserve an IP address for that specific node. And then when you do uh... and take a screen shot on it. And I'm going to send you a uh... email right now. So that uh... I probably replicate your ticket um, Lamar and I'm going to present this to the team sir. Okay? And uh... let's see what happens. One second. Sending that email right now. But you're not going to send it right away. We're going to just collect some screen shot first, okay? Uh... so that you can send it uh... like, let me send the email, sir. Yes, sir. The reserve an IP address to that node and you've seen that error or problem before. Take a screenshot on it, sir. You do. Okay. Perfect. Wow! Okay. Hmm. Yep. Uh, this is what I like when I'm talking to a tech person, so, okay. Just letting you know. It makes, it makes my life easy.
25:00
Speaker 2
Sorry, I have a screenshot of the. [silence] I already have the that set up with the reserved IP address for that uh, that Mac address, the [silence] ie. Yeah. Yeah. [silence] Well, I had already done it trying to, you know, get it to go and it will not. [silence] Um, I. The others have taken theirs. Uh, this one does not. So, um, [silence] so you wanna and there's your email. [silence] Yeah. Yeah, I've been doing this for quite some time. My since, yeah, I started off as a mainframe computer operator and writing uh job control language, JCL.back in the um, shoot, back in the early uh,
27:00
Speaker 1
82. Um 82, I was um I was born at that year, sir. So, okay. So, never got that experience that you have. Yes, sir. Now, after I replicate the ticket, Lamar, okay, I'm going to consult this to the team, okay, which I'm going to need your time for that. And the second step, okay, I'm going to seek um advice from the team if we can uh share this ticket to the uh to the engineering team, okay, and I need those screenshots, sir.
28:00
Speaker 2
80s, around 82, 83. I was a computer operator, and then moved on to, um, desktop support when PCs became popular. Yeah, yeah, I, I, I've been doing this a long time. So, um, so, you, you want the screenshot, correct? [silence]
28:00
Speaker 1
and secondly, OK, I'm not ensuring that it's gonna be discussed to the engineering team, but if they allow it, then I'll present it myself. Now, this is the reason I'm asking for the network topology, OK? So that, um, um, like I said, I'm gonna replicate. Anyway, waiting for that screenshot, sir, OK? Let me just refresh my tools here. OK. Now, once I receive it, I know you described this earlier, OK? But I need to get familiar with the screenshot that I can better explain this to them, OK? So um, You probably uh number those screenshots more, right? So that um, you have now I think I
29:00
Speaker 2
Okay. Okay, you want the screenshot. Let me I'm sending it now, just a screenshot. Here it comes. It's on its way. Okay. And it's just one screenshot I just I just sent you just one screenshot.
29:00
Speaker 1
just one screenshot, I see. I think I have it. Let me uh open that one. Okay. So I know the Mac address, the one with 59EA, okay, that ends with 59EA. And then um, this is the kitchen note. And whenever you reserve this, uh did you get uh, sorry, it's kinda static. So whenever you reserve this, there's an error message shows up or it won't take it. Ah, okay.
30:00
Speaker 2
Correct. It won't take it. No error messages. Just won't take it. The one below it, the B287, that one has 100. It took it. So, um, but the app but the actual physical Mac address which is the 591701... [silence] ...707146:215, that's the actual physical Mac address.
30:00
Speaker 1
hmm okay all right not sure I missed that part I missed that part uh what's it supposed to to show up sir um ah yeah you're right there are two there are two Mac addresses with the the same base Oh
31:00
Speaker 2
I will not take a reservation and as a matter of fact, the D2A7 shouldn't even exist. It shouldn't even show up. Um and then if you if I go the the the one that yeah. D2A7 yeah that shouldn't exist and that should not exist. As a matter of fact, if I go to device list again, I'll take a screenshot and send this as well so you can have it. Um let me try to expand this so I want it expanded and it just goes down. So I'll take a screenshot of this and send this as well.
31:00
Speaker 1
sorry while you were sending it you said there should be I thought they're the same there should be one of the other should not show up here which one of these is the AP library 6E uh huh ah okay I I know what you mean okay so the uh the MAC address
32:00
Speaker 2
Ooh. Yeah. The... No, no, no, no, no, no. What I'm saying is down at the bottom, there's two kitchen. AP kitchen. the one at the bottom with the that's that that Mac address is a virtual. It shouldn't even show up. It doesn't show up with I'm sending another screenshot. The devices.
32:00
Speaker 1
With a 6-8 that ends with 101, that's the MAC address underneath the child node. And then, um, this other MAC address is not supposed to show up. I got you now, I got you now. Alright, yeah, I got it. Yes, sir. Mhm. Mhm. Exactly. Mhm. Mhm. Wow.
33:00
Speaker 2
so you see two kitchens there should only be one but um i manually put those there. I manually did that um to isolate the that D2A7. But that's a virtual IP address it should not exist. That's on 192.168.1.100 should not exist. The only one that should exist is the 591 I see. And it will not water. It will not take that 1101 IP address. Let me send this uh the screenshot. I just uh. You said it never happens? .. Yeah. OK. And I'll send you the other screenshot of what it looks like in a device list. Oh, I should have sent the other one too. I'll do that one for you. Uh, the virtual one. So they can just have it. Here's the other kitten. And i'll do a screenshot of this one. This is the one that should not exist at all. But it did take the reserve for whatever reason. Um,
33:00
Speaker 1
Yep, checking on the second email, sir. um okay, So this is on the device list now. So this is the uh apk, which is the mac address is underneath the node, the physical mac address. and you said you're about to send the second screenshot, sir? The one with virtual, right? on his way. Okay. Wow. Okay. now, um, yeah, uh, here's what you just said to me. And a network log, sir.
35:00
Speaker 2
Yes. And it's only us. Yes.
35:00
Speaker 1
And um uh we can also capture network logs to the child node itself but we have to do it manually uh not the one that you did earlier you send it via email and you send it to the cloud I'm gonna go I uh yeah I see it now the the virtual mac address where it's not supposed to show up oh I see it oh maybe I missed this one so uh maybe I missed this one so if you reserve hold on uh I mean maybe I missed this okay I don't wanna mix up with my discussion with him so if you reserve the
36:00
Speaker 2
Yeah, as you can see it, like, and as you can see it took the reserve, you know, 101 or 100, um, 100 IP address. And it, it, it, it immediately took it. As soon as I set the reserve and boom, took it. It was pretty much immediate. So.
36:00
Speaker 1
the IP addresses with 101. sorry let me just get that screenshot again uh hold on not this one. uh let me uh clear things out. So if I reserve, uh, Okay? 100. Yes sir. I see that. gotcha.
37:00
Speaker 2
[silence]
37:00
Speaker 1
okay now let me just verify this uh Lamar the the apcK9E with 101 when you tried to reserve the IP address it didn't work where the other one that is 100 100 which has a virtual MAC address it took it ah immediately okay
38:00
Speaker 2
It, I didn't even have to reboot the the parent or anything, it immediately took it. Whereas, you know, the library or the media room, they both took about maybe overnight to when it when their um, um preserve the, um, Um, Okay. It doesn't work. What? It took it immediately. When it like right, so, uh right and and so there's some confusion within that that index 6200 where it's spawning different um.
38:00
Speaker 1
Sir I miss this part sir. Are you looking at to where sir? Sorry. Okay.
39:00
Speaker 2
I you know Mac address let me look to see if it did again let me look at the devices on my phone and see if it did aid yes. It did. So now it's showing one that that is connected to Ethernet which it should be uh let me uh open it again. Um but it had the name with the our an IP address of 186 which is weird and a different MAC address. I'm looking at the actual um phone app. Um so and there are discrepancies this is so you guys know uh uh. Um so that show is an approved then we different connected that's weird. It's not IP right now it just regular.
39:00
Speaker 1
Okay. Okay, hold that thought, Lamar. You just gave me 182.1 underscore 11 underscore something. Is that the parent node or the child node, sir?
40:00
Speaker 2
is there any discrepancies in the phone app information versus what is in the browser information when you view the parent router? Um So it has a totally different mac address. Um, but it has the name 192.168.1.186, which is weird and it says, now maybe it's telling me that it's something connecting to it. I don't know. Um, I scroll down. Here's the other one. Yeah, that's the. So, yeah, it it's
40:00
Speaker 1
And, uh, it has the correct Mac address, right? [silence] Okay, uh, the one that is not a correct Mac address is the one that we're talking about, the child node, right? So, okay, is that correct? [silence] [ silence ]
41:00
Speaker 2
n وليست كذلك فأنت تحتاج إلى جميع متطلبات الثمن فقطemat المقبل
41:00
Speaker 1
Okay. All right, this will be a long discussion, sir. Just to let you know. Okay. Yes, sir. I have to start from the beginning to the bottom, sir. I need this screenshot, show that to them, explain it to them. And it's going to probably take me some time, but it's okay, okay? Uh, we can communicate via email. In that way, if you want to ping me or I want to ping you, uh, we'll keep in touch here. Okay.
42:00
Speaker 2
And and it's the name I gave it, but I didn't type it twice. I just did it once and it comes up with two different devices in the device list. Let me Let me see if I can do a screenshot for you on number two. Let me do that real quick, so he can see it. A long discussion with your with your your your your your your your your your your your your your your support. Yeah. Okay. Okay. [silence]
42:00
Speaker 1
You're taking a screenshot to that after right? Mhm. Okay, I already got that. Uh, you said on the lenses app you Okay, thank you for that. [silence]
43:00
Speaker 2
No, no, this is the, so you can see in the device list itself that that's the resolution. This is going to be the screenshot of the actual device list. You'll see when I send it to you and it shows the two entries in the device list that say A P-kitchen-60E. And and the first two are the same.
43:00
Speaker 1
Okay. Now, the next thing that we're gonna do is, Lamar, okay, I'm gonna ask you to send a network logs to the child node, okay? And on the app, what is the IP address? On the Linksys app, I mean, we're not gonna rely on the device list because we'll be seeing too IP addresses right there. On the Linksys app, what is the IP address right there, sir? for that node that we're... to the node that we are working on, sir.
44:00
Speaker 2
Yeah, so you'll see it, it's coming now. Okay. Okay. For which device? Okay, the I.P. address. I'm waiting for it. I had to - sometimes the the app actually goes offline for some reason and I have to kill it on the phone and then reinitialize
44:00
Speaker 1
It's okay. I just want to hear it from you. So I the network log uh um uh is already here in my end this one to know the uh child note. That's what's on the network logs. Now we're gonna use your computer sure. And then um uh you're gonna send me the network logs okay from the child oh. Okay now um I'd like you to open a different tab. It's the 149. Uh I [silence]
45:00
Speaker 2
so hopefully it won't drop way to go codes. Uh, and then the kitchen node, um, the IP address is 192. you want a screenshot of it? Let me, let me do that. Okay. Okay. Okay. the child node IP address is 192.168.1.149. Okay. Okay. Okay. All right. you want me to This is Po. Okay. Is that it? LSMS.
45:00
Speaker 1
Okay, um, well kind of, you're kind of static Lamar. I just want to know if you're in the right screen. When you type in the CISinfo.cgi, did it ask for a username and password? Uh, anyway, uh, you can, um, send it to me through by email. Uh, yeah, you can use uh, email, Mm. Email, com. [silence] Email, com. Hopefully it doesn't cut off. Then come in with a space before DMS. And then move on to the next thing. [silence] And hopefully it doesn't cut off. Then come in with a space for DMS. [silence] And then move on to getting a NYAP for them.
47:00
Speaker 2
[KEEP_UNCERTAIN] Okay. So, that is sysinfo.cgi. Yeah. All right. So, you want me to send this long to you? So, let me Uh, Uh, I'll copy it to a notepad. first of all. Yeah, I mean, Yeah. All right. No, I did not. It took me right to, it looks like stuck. didn't ask me for uh...
47:00
Speaker 1
Notepad to do the answer. Yeah. Notepad.
48:00
Speaker 2
Yeah, yeah. That's one of the issues. Mo Content. So let me, uh, uh, let me, um, let me, uh, let me, uh, let me, uh, let me, uh, let me,
48:00
Speaker 1
There's two of them. It's online.
49:00
Speaker 2
doctor moran we are
49:00
Speaker 1
by the way the last screenshot that you sent I already received it and uh when waiting for that last um I'm in other screenshot the network clogs so uh this is double check k lemarr okay sometimes uh whenever you type that 182.168.1.149 it routes to the parent node do you still have that ip addresses and the ur uh url out there that ends with 149 yeah perfect okay so that this is the uh
50:00
Speaker 2
let me see. okay. so it didn't route to the computer. it's still pointing at 192.168.1.149. uh. and then, and yeah, I'm looking at the, the
50:00
Speaker 1
Ah. But I see what you mean. Yes, sir. Thank you, sir. So, um, making some notes right now, um, L N .3100. This is the firmware. And now, hold on.
51:00
Speaker 2
Yeah, that's the firmware for uh the notes. That's not the firmware for the uh parent because it's the one dot zero dot one four dot two. I. Six, seven, three eight. So that's the um that's that's the firmware for the yeah, that's that's the firmware for the MX 6200. So I'm in the right place. So I sent you the the I sent you the notes with that the logs. [silence] As a matter of fact, I'm looking at the the config.
51:00
Speaker 1
Perfect. For sure. Okay, great. I don't know what to say with engineering. I got I got pretty much I got everything. Let me check that one, sir. Yeah, there it is. Wow. Okay. Okay. All right. My next step would be, um, yeah, one last question, sir, before I raise this to the team.
52:00
Speaker 2
Device UID and the Mac address is right there. This is for that kitchen no, for sure. Manufacturer. Yeah, so, and yeah, that's that's the the on here the manufacturer data. It has the hardware Mac address as 806911 ABC 591 easy. So that's this is the correct one.
52:00
Speaker 1
u. uh. I hate to ask this because um you know uh can I have the model number of those uh three switches, sir? to complete my network topology, ma'am. ma'am, sir, I have this in my mind now. yes and uh if it's possible can you include the other two switches there? because I want to create a network topology with this win. I report this one, sir. is it okay? [silence] Yes, sir. Do they have the same model numbers? They have only one do they have the same model numbers, sir?
53:00
Speaker 2
Okay. You you. You want the, the sure, you want the modeling number of the switch that the note notes are plug into. The. Both other to switches. You talking about the other two notes, or because they they're plug into as a a single switch, 24 port switch. So all three of them are plug into 24 port. So so there's only one switch model. Are you wait wait wait wait.
53:00
Speaker 1
I got them. I got them. They're All I make 62 sir. I'm asking for the switch. Ah. Yes sir. Yes sir.
54:00
Speaker 2
Wait, wait, so let me be clear, you want the model number of the the child node for? Yeah. There's only one switch . It's a 24-port switch that everything is plugged into in the house. So, you need the the actual model number of the D-Link D-Link switch, correct? Okay. So. Let me do this. Yeah, that I'm giving the information for you. So,
54:00
Speaker 1
Let me read this back. uh DGS one zero two four eight. Uh, yeah, uh, um, it's, uh, it's uh, you right, sir, you right, it's the dash. I said, uh, colon, but I typed it dash on my notes. Sorry about that.
55:00
Speaker 2
So, the model number for the D-Link Switch is David George-am 1024 fast forward, not a comma, it's a dash. Let me do this real quick.
55:00
Speaker 1
All right, let me uh take a look at it, all right.
56:00
Speaker 2
sniffing me this, the of Hello. It's come backup. I'm getting you to Pablo. I'm going to send you the top to couple of pictures.
56:00
Speaker 1
Model number. Wow, thank you for that, sir. Uh, yeah, this will save me some time. network lugs to the child now.
58:00
Speaker 2
Okay. I sent you another email that has reference pictures to my network setup and a picture of the front of the D-Link switch with the model number. Okay.
58:00
Speaker 1
Okay, got it. Now just to clarify, so from the, uh, NM three one to one behind it there's the switch, and that is the D-Link. And the three M not that
59:00
Speaker 2
[silence] I'm perfect. Did you see it? It was switched it, right, this push right. Right. So if you look at the picture, right under the router that's on top of the two antennas, that's the LM3121. Right below it is the D-link switch switch.
59:00
Speaker 1
I see that. Okay, so basically, uh, the, uh, the MX62 child nodes are wired to this the link switcher. Am i correct? Mm, yes sir. Ah yeah, i see it. Perfect. We're in the same page here. One more, um, thank you for using information here, okay? Uh, this i dealt with um, you know, concerns before like this and um, I'm going to set your expectations, it's going to take me some time. Uh, I need to consult this to the team first before. If everyone allowed this to be discussed to the engineering team, that would be great, okay?
60:00
Speaker 2
Correct. Correct. If you look at that picture, you can see the 110 punched down to the left of everything with orange Ethernet cables coming out of it. Yeah. So those go into the DeLink switch and then there is one connection coming from the LM 3121 going into that DeLink switch that connects everything. [silence]
60:00
Speaker 1
and that way lin sig will know that uh there are cases like this if it's not then i'm gonna get back to you sir okay and um if you want to update me via email or if i want to update you via email um we can uh communicate to that email okay that email can only be uh i cannot i'm the only one can receive it by the way all right and uh lamar um is there uh anything else that that that you'd like to uh give me so or questions you have in mind all right thank you so much and you have a great day lamar you sir bye-bye
61:00
Speaker 2
okay all right okay okay go ahead yep yep that it's that all i have thank you thank you you too bye-bye
61:00
