I set it up at one location. I transferred locations and now the stupid thing doesn't want to broadcast. The Wi-Fi, it'll show up and then it disappears. This is actually the, I set it up initially at a remote location and it worked fine. I shut it all down, brought it to a new location in a different area, which is about the same way I had it before because I'm actually using it off of a
01:00
Speaker 2
Alright, so you set it up but the network name is not showing on the Wi-Fi list, is that correct? And I'm just... Okay, um, just... Oh, I see it. Apologize for you know, that one, ma'am. And also, just to confirm, this router that you have, is it working before or is it your first time setting it up?
01:00
Speaker 1
[KEEP_UNCERTAIN] uh access bridge reconnect it it'll come up every now and then it'll pop up with the SSID and then the SSID goes away before it'll connect I can't hardline into it or nothing it keeps giving me errors.
02:00
Speaker 2
All right. Okay. So did you reset this router, ma'am? Like press and hold the reset button. Mm-hmm.
02:00
Speaker 1
Twelve to eighteen seconds. Uh, currently blue light solid, uh. Thank you, access me. Uh. I'm looking on spine. Like I said, I don't have anything hard connected to it, but it won't connect Wi-Fi. It's not even showing in my Wi-Fi list. Uh, I'm not a service provider. I'm an end user.
03:00
Speaker 2
I see, all right. And how long did you hold the RESET button then? What's the LED status of your router right now, ma'am? Five seconds. Um-hum. All right, so it's solid blue and the SSID is not showing and this router is connected to your modem. May I know is your internet service provider ma'am?
03:00
Speaker 1
[silence] I am not sure. I'm at a buddy's house setting it up for him. I got it in the mail. It came into the mail. It is at one of his houses where I personally have TVs. I'm not sure what he has here. Hey Roy, who's your internet provider? It's Brantley telephone company. Brantley telephone company. I have AT&T myself. [silence]
04:00
Speaker 2
All right. what I mean? What is the, who is your internet source? [silence] All, what's, who is it again?
04:00
Speaker 1
it took up through a wireless access point but yeah so they took up to the mo- yeah the wireless access point has good service when I connect the HIT when I connect the modem that's when it's yes I well when I connect the router it losses it okay but it's flashing that it's communicating with the access point when they ran for it [silence] [silence] [silence]
05:00
Speaker 2
And it is hooked up to the modem, right, this router? Because, ma'am, this router will not work if it is not connected.
05:00
Speaker 1
It worked fine last night, connected the exact same way. Yeah, it's an access point bridge that I've got set up to go through multiple buildings. It is in a residential environment. I have the main broadcaster for the wireless access bridge connected to the modem in the house. It then comes up or it connects to a remote access point, and then hard-lined into the router. But the router is not even showing as an access point. It shows up, then it goes away. It shows up, then it goes away.
06:00
Speaker 2
is directly to your internet source.
06:00
Speaker 1
Router did, did it connect to the, um, I'm setting up uh I'm actually got two of these which links this route but I'm gonna be setting up on two different access brig, um, the house access, the house wi-fi is shepherd but what I'm currently working on is going to be the garage wi-fi and then I have another one that's going be game, uh ry. No, it is, it is the the house internet is the modem that comes from Brantley telephone company. I'm not sure what the make and model is, uh but I don't I haven't looked at that close.
07:00
Speaker 2
the Wi-Fi name of the Internet source you connect this router. [silence] all right. so the house Wi-Fi name, is it linksys also? Or is it connecting to sprout?
07:00
Speaker 1
[DOWNWEIGHT] And then I have. Is this a cand second? That's I can go get the access points. And the access points are AI smart wireless bridges, uh, CPE. music music music
08:00
Speaker 2
All right. And the light status is solid blue because if it's solid blue, it means that it's already connected to the network. But let's double check it. Can you provide the serial number of this router, ma'am?
08:00
Speaker 1
Three, four, November 10 Mike 25 Alpha 03-407 Jacob Harris and my email address is the pest at cybergradient calm the pest Tom Henry Echo Paul Echo Sam Tom at cybergradient Charlie Yankee Bravo Echo Romeo
09:00
Speaker 2
working on? All right, and also can you provide your first and last name and also your email address for me to address you properly? What's the email address again, Jacob?
09:00
Speaker 1
it. Yes. I initially had it worked fine for a couple of seconds and then it dropped the broadcasting the Wi-Fi. And now it's not broadcasting any Wi-Fi information. I know it's not network wires because I just made them.
10:00
Speaker 2
Got it. best at cyberduck.com. Thank you so much, Jacob. So one moment here. All right. So when you set it up yesterday, it's working. Just today, when you move it, suddenly the network is not showing anymore. Mm-hmm. Yeah. All right. On up here.
10:00
Speaker 1
Like I say, if I take the line coming from the tower, re-eat it adapter, and plug it into my laptop, works fine. When I plug it into the random port on the modem, the modem doesn't get internet. It doesn't broadcast anything, and I, and I won't even give me an accurate IP address if I hard line into the modem from my laptop. No, that was somebody else. Okay. [silence]
11:00
Speaker 2
No, no, Jacob. Just check and... here. [silence] Okay, is it okay, Jacob, if I put this call on hold for about 3 to 5 minutes, I just need to pull up some resources here. Thank you so much. One moment here.
12:00
Speaker 1
Yeah. Twenty feet from the wireless bridge to the Linksys modem, so the Linksys router, about 15 feet from the yeah. About 15 feet from the modem to the
26:00
Speaker 2
Yeah, thank you so much for patiently waiting on the line, and I do apologize for the very long hold. And also, um, Jacob, since you mentioned that the light status is solid blue and also, um, the network name of your Wi-Fi is showing unaffilled, right? Uh, like it shows and then Okay, just to confirm also, um, how far is this MR6350 from your access point or wireless bridge? Uh, what is it again? 20 feet.
26:00
Speaker 1
[silence] [silence] [silence] [silence] [silence] [silence] [silence] [silence] [silence] [silence] [silence] I did I've got my laptop connected hard line and it's given me an auto configuration of 169.254.127.60 on the IT4 even even though it's not even though it's in D set to something else it should pop something out so I'm not sure what's going on. Like I said, I had loosely looked up last night at my house and set up the exact same way and it worked beautifully. uh five
27:00
Speaker 2
mhm. Okay. Mhm. Mhm. when you set it up, Jacob, earlier, did you choose, or yesterday, did you choose the 2.4 connection or the 5 gigahertz connection?
27:00
Speaker 1
But it's like if I can make my laptop straight to my wireless bridge, I have great internet. Once I connect this motor to the way, yeah, once I connect the bridge to the WAN port it's not giving me any internet information. It's not giving me networks. You know, like I said, it won't even let me go in and get to the setting to the to the mode or the router. It's not even it's not broadcasting and it's not giving me a proper I thinking. It won't let me do anything. But last night when I did it, it worked beautiful. I've never had a problem with it since before.
28:00
Speaker 2
[silence] MR 6350, or it's different from the extender, like the A range extender. Um, the range extender, you can see the SSID, like there is an extension name for the extender um, on the network list, right? However, for this um, router, since you set it up as a wireless bridge mode, So, the only thing that we can see if it's working is the light status. So, since you mentioned the light status is solid blue but the SSID is not working, um the best option for you is to reset again this node and then or this router and then set it up again. And also, you can do a problem with this, like continuous thing for 24 hours if there is a bucket when you try to think that.
29:00
Speaker 1
What like I said, what's he will. Yeah, I set it up last night at my house. I had the access bridge kit that we that he bought. Yeah, it's a good buddy of mine. He bought one transmitter, two receivers. When I hooked them up last night, obviously, I hooked the transmitter up to my network in my house. I took the access point number one and connected it to this router. Access point two, I connected it to the other router. The exact same model. I set them both up one at a time. I actually used my laptop for one and my cell phone for the other.
30:00
Speaker 2
Because maybe there is... Uh-huh. Yet. Um. Uh-huh.
30:00
Speaker 1
Router got them set up. I could connect with either laptop or cell phone to either Router and had no problems. I get here. I ain't even set the second access point up in the second router yet because I'm still trying to get this one working and I've been working on it for a few hours. Because it won't like I said, when I go in hardline into the into the router it's give it's not giving me a proper IP address. It's giving me that generic IP address that comes up when they have an issue.
31:00
Speaker 2
**Yes,** I understand that one, Jacob. So that's why - since this route. [silence] **Yes,** I understand that one, Jacob.
31:00
Speaker 1
so that's the thing. When I try to reset it, I'm sitting here, all right, I have a blue light on the top. Reset button, yep. Holding. Nothing is happening. [silence]
32:00
Speaker 2
Your router is already out of warranty and for this there might be a some hardware issue on the antenna of this router. Since you mentioned that it is working, but when you move it like to the other location and the light status is solid blue, however the network is showing on and off. So, the last option is for you to reset it again and then connect it back and then observe again the connection. Mhm. Mhm. Alright. So, the light on your computer should go green.
32:00
Speaker 1
[silence] Still solid blue light and the rant port on the back of it is still just [silence] trying to talk but it's not getting the proper information from the access friend. Yeah. [silence] Just staying solid blue. I've still got the button Twitched. I haven't released it. [silence]
33:00
Speaker 2
It's not responding. It keeps on having a solid blue light. All right. I see, because if you cannot, I mean, if you press the reset button, sir, the light, the light status of this router should turn off and then go back to blinking once. So, did the light went off when you press the reset button or does it stay solid blue? All right. And if that's the case, Jacob, um there might be a hardware issue for this router that you have. And since your router was already out of warranty, so we could not provide a replacement or a refund for this router.
33:00
Speaker 1
It's going to be a problem. Like I said, I make my own network wires. I've done thousands of these. Let's see what.
34:00
Speaker 2
So might as well, you need to purchase a new one since the device is not responding when you try to reset it. Mm-hmm. All right. Yes.
34:00
Speaker 1
Oh, this one's got hard connection. It is not broadcasting Wi-Fi. And it should do. I tried to re, the router to, no, I did not reset it because it came online and okay, it's letting me into the app here. myself Oh, sweet entertainment. so then No, internet access when I connect to it wirelessly and it's it's it's going off.
36:00
Speaker 2
All right, so did you reset the other one already? [silence]
36:00
Speaker 1
I think you might be a bad resport on it. [ silence ] Yeah, see, I mean, if this was broadcasting, it's S.S.I.D. But for some reason, it's not connecting properly. [silence] Yeah, hello. Hello. How are you? So, we're
37:00
Speaker 2
All right. So did you connect it to your access point, wireless bridge?
39:00
Speaker 1
Yes, it's the it's the same model. [silence] Yes, it's blue is doing good. Like I said, it's trying to get into this thing. I hate this one here that that it won't let you have multiple networks at the same time. Come on. [silence] Yes. [silence]
40:00
Speaker 2
and what's the latest that this other router is it solid too also? The same model and the light status is the same solid too. All right. Yeah. You can only use 2.4 only. Since you um, you will relocate this node or this router. You should select the 2.4 net defined as the 2.4 will provide you the longer range.
40:00
Speaker 1
I, I've, this router is named game room, but it still keeps trying to connect to Garargs, through the app, it won't let me, I'm doing set up a new network, place link this router to upgrade, move mesh router because of what it is, use it up. So it still keeps trying to connect me to the garage router. They won't let me change router even though I'm trying to set up a new network. It is. The garage router is not connected to anything currently. The game room router I've got connected.
41:00
Speaker 2
So try to unplug the other routers. [silence]
41:00
Speaker 1
But it won't let me change the dashboard. And every time I tried to do anything. I used the same power cord and the same two network lines. And yeah. Thank you. All right. I don't know how to reach it.
42:00
Speaker 2
So you so you unplug the other router from the power source already? [silence]
42:00
