When you will lose internet connection, you have to check the light indicator of the router. That's the light indicator at the front of the router. So, usually, if it's working well, it should be solid blue. If it's not, or if it's it has no internet connection, it's gonna be flashing red or solid red. So, you have to check on that if you experience the issue.
