[silence] this new node, is it is it close to the parent node, like is it 5 to 6 feet away from it? And, uh did you already press the reset button of this child node? [silence] Okay. [silence] All right. So, here's what we're going to do. I see the reset first on the child node. And, once we reset it successfully, we'll do the, uh, five press again on the parent node. So, um, right now, the, uh, child node is, um, it's, it's a foot away from the parent node. And what is

the current led indicator. The light, what is the uh the color of the led indicator on top? On the child node. It's solid purple. Okay. Do you have any computer available? Can we use that computer for the mean sector? Okay. yes, 'cuz since you've already tried the file press.

You can also use the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Tools page, check the device list. If it's online there, Uh is that on the device list? Yeah. Uh, are you using the Linksys app or the, uh, the Smart Wi-Fi Tools page? Yeah.

uh press OK. Yes and uh check the device list. Uh huh. That's the wired one, then the other one is the wireless. So uh how many nodes do you have in total? Again, you have two right? Yeah. Yes, so that's the child node.

Actually, the, the one, other one which has the, the three dots, that's the parent node, that's the main node. So, they're both, they're both online right now. They're both connected. So even the child node is, it's actually working. Okay, so Chris, so what we actually did, sir, is we added the child node using the user interface, because sometimes it, it won't work with the iPress or the Linksys app as well. So, other option is to add it from the user interface or the web interface of your Linksys. Okay? All right. So

25 feet away if you're getting low signal. Yeah, so just make sure that you still have solid blue light on the child's node, because that indicates that it's still, yeah, it's still getting a connection from the parent node. You go to the troubleshooting option. And under status, you have the report. So you would be able to check the connection type, of it's on bridge or it's on DHCP. If you want to change the setting, the Internet settings of your router, you can go to connectivity. And then under connectivity, you have Internet settings.

Then you can edit the internet connection type by default that is but you can set it to bridge mode. That usually depends on your internet settings sir. So if your modem the one from your internet provider is a gateway, okay, you can set your Linksys router as a wireless bridge or as a bridge, okay? So once you set it as a bridge, the router capability of this Linksys will be disabled. So the main router will be your modem or the gateway from your internet provider. So you can do that if you have a gateway or a modem/r router, the one from your internet provider. But if it's a plain modem, you cannot, you cannot set your Linksys to bridge.

Yes, cuz the router can route um can connect multiple devices at the same time. So if you have a modem plan modem it only uh connects uh one device uh at a time. So if it's a gateway so it's a modem slash routers so it has router capability. So if uh if you're if you have a modem slash router from your internet provider uh and you you connect a uh another router so you have two routers in your system um uh the router has its own firewall. So it's it's something like you you're um connecting a firewall to another firewall uh so then .]

thing like that. So that's the that's the purpose of a router. It's under connectivity. And you go to internet settings. So there's connection type. Then by default, that is DHCP. You can just set it to bridge mode. So that's if your your box from internet from your internet provider is a modem router. You can set your Linksys router to bridge. So if you want to make your modem router the one from your internet provider as your main router, not the Linksys. So the the Linksys router will act as as
