So this one is actually using a Wi-Fi 5 technology and then just recently around August of 2025 Spectrum updated their system in order to cope up with the newer Wi-Fi technology. So this once sir, the EA8500, we also stopped supporting the unit since August 24th of 2024, because um the firmware is already outdated since August 26th of 2019. So, probably um more likely we could recommend to get a newer router that could support the later technology from Spectrum. [silence] the issue that you're experiencing right now in terms of slow speed connection that actually because of the outdated firmware of the EA. 8500. So what we can only do is that we can try to reset and then reconfigure it. I can send you an email step by step for that one since we no longer support the unit over the phone. However, if you if you I think you have to consider sir to upgrade to a better uh with a newer model. At least since you're also using Alexa. Alexa is actually um uh updated to use a newer Wi-Fi technology. Um at least Wi-Fi 6 to Wi-Fi 7 Wi-Fi technology. So um try sir to upgrade to a unit that at least supports Wi-Fi 6 since your Wi-Fi 7.
